The goal of my tying is to help all those who are interested in this type of fly. In my tying I will share with you the experience which I acquired through the years and from meetings with other tiers. I do not know everything and all that will be shown does not constitute an absolute truth. It is up to you to bring your own reflections and your own style .I would particularly like to thank Daniel Dufour who showed me his technique of multi wings.
I will start tying on a Partridge hook CS7DB Dublin Bend 6/0. This is a very good hook for this type of tying with a really characteristic shape.
The use of the finest possible tying thread is strongly advised. (12/0)
Before starting I must prepare the eyelet which will be made with gut (silk worm gut). Please note that this fly will be a presentation fly and not a fly for fishing.
