The head
 

The head is the last stage and not to be ignored. It would be a pity to do so after working on the fly for so long. I use fast drying epoxy and a "copying ink pencil" from China
 
ETAPE 1 : I use a China Copying-Ink Pencil
 
ETAPE 2 : Place ink on the head so that all is colored in black.
 
ETAPE 3 : Attention don't put ink on the wing and the eyelet.
 
ETAPE 4 : Take fast drying crystal epoxy. Mix the two parts thoroughly
 
ETAPE 5 : Application of epoxy is delicate requiring you to pay attention. Your time is also limited, so do not delay too much. If you do, it will be impossible to apply it properly
 
ETAPE 6 : Application of the epoxy is finished
  
 
ETAPE 7 : Let the fly dry as shown without disturbing the epoxy. Wait at least 2 days before touching the head. A good general rule is to not touch the head if possible
 
ETAPE 8 : The finished fly. Now I get to go and drink a good beer
